Within the Lanna Foundation/ITDF’s Hands To Heart Women’s Cooperative, the Hilltribe women themselves have named two of the most important goals beyond sustainable income:
-         To be strong role models for their children.
-         To preserve their ancestral weaving traditions.

To support these goals within the cooperative, the Lanna/ITDF team comes alongside the women to create and support a space where their craft a can be passed from one generation to the next. A space for mothers and children to share knowledge and learn together. Thus, honoring their culture, strengthening skills and ensuring a future rooted in heritage.
