Meet Nee Cha
Posted on June 28 2026
Nee Cha and her mother, Jireh, have been members of the Hands To Heart Women’s Cooperative for nearly 6 years. They come from the remote village of Huay Mei, where traditional weaving and hand-stitching have been passed down through generations.
Through the cooperative, Nee Cha has gained new skills that build upon her beautiful ancestral artistry—creating products that can reach global markets while helping provide a more sustainable income for her family. In communities where farming can be unpredictable from year to year, these opportunities make a meaningful difference.
Today, Nee Cha is helping support her family’s well-being through the work of her hands and the preservation of her culture. Every stitch carries love, hope, and a piece of her story. ❤️
